SNOW EMERGENCY STARTING AT NOON, JANUARY 10, 2025 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

Posted on January 10, 2025

A Snow Emergency has been officially issued for the City of Fort Wright beginning Friday, January 10 at 12:00 pm. This Snow Emergency will remain in effect until further notice and is the result of warnings issued by the National Weather Service (NWS). These warnings indicate a high confidence in the arrival of High Impact Winter Weather, defined as a combination of heavy snow, freezing temperatures, and drifting winds that may result in slippery road conditions. Travel is expected to become incredibly difficult this evening, especially around rush hour. All vehicles that remain parked on public roadways will be ticketed and/or towed. In order to protect your property and our staff we strongly encourage you to comply with this safety measure immediately.
