UK Cooperative Extension Service + SD1 Yard Services
The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Cooperative Extension Service [UK Cooperative Extension] offers free soil testing! Residents can also receive a fertilizer cheat sheet with application rates for a variety of readily-available bagged fertilizer mixes.
In conjunction with the UK Cooperative Extension Service, the Sanitation District No. 1 [SD1] recommends testing soil to ensure the appropriate fertilizer is applied, and applying in a manner that reduces runoff and waste into our waterways.
