The City of Fort Wright is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced individual for the position of full-time Police Officer. This position will be responsible for the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances and will report directly to the Chief of Police and/or his designee.
The successful candidate must be a certified Kentucky Peace Officer in accordance with KRS 15.382, the Peace Officers Professional Standards Act (POPS), or if a Peace Officer in a different state capable of obtaining POPS Certification in Kentucky without attending DOCJT Basic Training.
Salary Range (DOQ) is $48,498.59 to $65,225.21, plus occasional over-time, special details, and a $4,000 state hazardous duty incentive. Excellent benefit package provided, which currently includes the following:
